Filomena Carmo

He has always liked natural shapes, threads and fabrics and with them makes weaving, tapestry and other textile objects.

She graduated in sculpture at ESBAL, was a teacher of Visual Education and taught Weaving in a course of Conservation of Cultural Heritage.

She lives in Lagos for 40 years, since 20 years in the Barão de São João area where she cultivates aromatic herbs and integrates the environmental group Healthy Earth.

For Walk & Art Fest 2019 he made small interventions in degraded spaces of the village using fabrics.
