An introduction to painting with watercolour, we start with the primary colours to find the shades of autumn.
How to get there
From the Cultural Center (450m): On foot, exiting from the event’s reception (Cultural Center), go downwards (south) along the road “Estrada da Mata Nacional” for about 300 meters. Turn left “Jacques Favre Castelo Branco” street, passing by the Municipal Market, following the road until its end (150m), reaching the street “Capitão Francisco da Silva Rijo”. The atelier is on the no. 13, to the right.
From Lagos: Arriving in the city of Lagos, at the Municipal Stadium roundabout, head towards Bensafrim. At the exit of Portelas, take the EM 531 on the left, towards Barão de São João, passing by Monte Judeu. Keep going straight ahead, towards Barão de S. João. Once within Barão de São João, keep straight, bearing right towards “Bensafrim”, going around the Church. You can park at the exit to the village, in a parking lot on the right, behind the church and cemetery, and walk the rest of the way. After passing the church, take Rua Capitão Francisco da Silva Rijo. The atelier is located at no. 13, on the left.

Eva Herre
Born in Augsburg, Germany 1955.
She has lived and worked in Portugal since 1987.
Her artistic development began with a strong passion for color and led her first to the art of dyeing with plants.
She attended the Free School of Art in Badenweiler, Germany, where she began her artistic training.
In various courses and trainings in Germany and Portugal, she deepened her creative potential.
She complemented her artistic training with a professional course in art therapy and creative processes.
Since 2013 she has been working in her studio in Barão de São João. In her Open Studio, people are invited to discover and express their creative potential.
Her project “Bring color to your life” brings together art and art therapy.
Since 2005, she has held several solo and group exhibitions.
As an “Artist from Barão”, she has participated in street exhibitions in Barão for many years and is also regularly present with an installation/work at the Walk & Art Fest.
During the summer she participates with other artists in Pátio Azul in Lagos - a presentation of local art.
