Workshop: Bird Feeders
From 10:00 to 10:45
In this workshop, we will use natural materials like pinecones, peanut butter, and seeds to create eco-friendly bird feeders. Each participant can take their creation home or hang it in the Barão woods to help feed the local birds.
How to get there
From the Cultural Center (1.2km): Exiting from the event’s reception (Cultural Center), you should follow the dirt track that goes into the “Mata Nacional” (National Woods), bound Northwest, and keep straight for about one kilometer, until you find directions to turn left and reach the picnic area.
From Lagos: Arriving at city of Lagos, at the roundabout of the Municipal Stadium, follow towards Bensafrim. At the exit of Portelas, take the EM 531 to the left, in the direction of Barão de São João, passing by “Monte Judeu”. Continue straight ahead towards Barão de S. João, and after entering the village of Barão de São João, follow the signs that indicate the “Mata Nacional” (National Woods). Follow the dirt track that goes into the Mata Nacional (bound Northwest) and keep straight for about one kilometer, until you find directions to turn left and reach the picnic area.
