Lost Paths of the Mountains

Circular route along abandoned paths and trails in the Serra de Espinhaço de Cão. We'll start at the Barão São João Forest Perimeter, heading north and east, and return to the village. Along the route, you can see stunning and contrasting landscapes: the vegetation, wind turbines and the typical landscape of the Algarve mountains, characterised by a succession of hills and valleys covered with Mediterranean scrub, rockroses, strawberry trees (arbutus), cork oaks, pines and small water reservoirs.

NOTE: Bring comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, walking sticks, water and a packed lunch.
