Gonçalo Cabral

Born in Lisbon in 1948.

He graduated in architecture from the Escola de Belas-Artes de Lisboa (1972).

In 1981, he settled in the municipality of Lagos, where he worked as a freelance architect and taught visual arts at Gil Eanes Secondary School for 30 years.

He was part of the initial core of the informal group ‘Artistas de Barão de São João’ (Artists of Barão de São João), participating in collective exhibitions from 2012 to 2022.

He participated in the ‘Barão de São João - Walk & Art Fest’ in 2023 and 2024.
